My Story

Hi, my name is Cameron Thompson.

Looking back, I have been obsessed with graphic design for almost as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I would gawk at the packaging and the halftone dots on soda cans and try to analyze how they were made, but what threw me over the edge was my stepdad’s best friend’s car. I know almost nothing about cars; you could tell me the name of a vehicle, and there is a high chance I couldn’t even visualize what it looks like. The thing that grabbed my attention, though, was the graphic that was wrapped around that car. It was a grim reaper that was advertising his freelance graphic design services. The wrap captivated my young brain and would be the braking point of what would set off my graphic design journey.

In my free time, I like playing bass, video games, and film photography; my favorite music genres are Midwest emo and metal. I work full-time at Greenheck on the 3rd shift and come to school during the day.
